SEMANTIC ORGANIZATION OF INDIVISIBLE SENTENCES IN THE OSSETIAN LANGUAGE

Purpose. The article is devoted to the study of the communicative nature of indivisible sentences in the Ossetian language, their structural organization and semantic dependence on the context. The system of indivisible syntactic constructions is closely connected with morphology and colloquial set expressions. The author aims to consider the structural features of indivisible structures and their semantic variability in contextual use. The method or methodology of the work performed. The methods of comparative and structural analysis and generalization were used. Results. To identify the features of the contextual semantics of indivisible sentences of the Ossetian language, their existing typological classifications were critically analyzed. In the course of the study, a number of problems were identified related to the determination of the status of indivisible sentences in the system of Ossetian syntax, the terminological apparatus, the establishment of categorical features of the inseparability of syntactic constructions and their morphological composition. A comparative analysis of various approaches showed the commonality of the groups included in the system of indivisible sentences of the Ossetian language, including indicative, interrogative and motivating constructions with positive and negative semantics. It remains controversial whether to include constructions with an emotional and evaluative load in the structure of indivisible sentences. The morphological composition of these constructions and the absence of traditional syntactic links between the components makes it possible to consider them as inseparable. However, the obvious gravitation towards the stability of the majority of indivisible sentences with an emotional and evaluative load brings them closer to phraseological constructions. Practical implications. The results of the behavioral research can serve as material for a deeper and more detailed study of the phenomenon of inseparable syntactic structures of the Ossetian language, including with the involvement of related disciplines.
