In an in vitro experiment the bactericidal activity of ozone has been studied in an ozone-aerial mixture in a different ozone concentration concerning the pathogenic micro flora of root canal. An optimal concentration of ozone has been defined in an ozone aerial mixture and in an ozonated physiological solution. An algorithm of usage of medical ozone has been elaborated in an endodontic treatment of patients with pulpitis and periodontitis.
