Description |
Comparative investigation of effects of diuretic medication Furosemide on the rat renal function was carried out after short-term and long-term keeping the animals under condition of light (subjective day) and darkness (subjective night). It was found that administration of Furosemide has induced more powerful diuretic and natriuretic effects in rats during subjective night. It was assumed that in rats, which are the nocturnal animals, such differences are caused by more expressive renal functional activity at night.
