The author of the article considers the concept «socialization» to be a structural component of the process of personality formation. There are reflections on the difference between the processes of socialization in Soviet and modern periods. The author says about the philosophical bases of modern principles of learning, there are various points of view on the periods, the content and institutions of socialization, there are observed the role of a pedagogue for getting all kinds of social experience by a personality.
