The articLe discusses the main criteria for the seLection of anticoaguLation therapy in patients with venous throm-boemboLic compLications (VTEC) in different cLinicaL situations. The presented data are sourced from the Russian and global guidelines on the treatment and secondary prevention of the disease, as well as the authors' own experience at the Pirogov center. The focus is on the possibility of outpatient management of specific subgroups of patients with VTEC.
