Description |
The article deals with the state of Nadya Rusheva's sets of drawings in the collections of the National Museum of the Republic of Tuva, which is the largest holder of her works in Russia. We examine the fund documentation, the archive of the Rushevs and the thematic and structural plans of the artist's personal exhibitions. As of today, there are 5380 units of N. Rusheva's drawings forming over 50 thematic sections in the main collections of the museum. The articles compare the Rusheva exhibitions held in the Soviet and present periods, as well as the collections of her drawings at the National Museum, Republic of Tuva and the State A.S. Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts which houses more than 3000 drawings by the artist. As a particular feature of Nadya Rusheva's collection of graphics in the Tuvan museum, we can note the thematic diversity that has allowed us to trace the evolution of the artist's creative language. A special attention is paid to the interpretation of Nadya Rusheva’s graphics in the exhibition projects hosted by the National Museum of Tuva. The stylistic specificity of Rusheva’s graphic art associated with her young age and personality in the context of modern exhibition work has come to be seen as one of the main priorities of the museum. International and regional personal exhibitions organized by the National Museum of the Republic of Tuva from the 1970s to the present reflect a gradual change in public attitude to the work and person of Nadya Rusheva.
