Since the geometric, mechanical and dynamic properties of the soil and the superstructure are transferred to each other, their designs should not be considered independent. In the analyzes carried out considering the structure-soil interaction, the structure period and the horizontal forces acting depending on the period vary according to the soil properties. In this study, the effect of the structuresoil interaction on the seismic behavior of a masonry minaret was investigated. For this purpose, a typical masonry minaret, which is thought to have been built in the Isparta province of Turkey, was modeled in the SAP2000 V23.1.0 program. In order to see the effects of structure soil interaction on the seismic behavior of the minaret, two separate finite element models of the minaret were created with fixed support (FS) and structure soil interactive (SSI). On two models, modal analysis, response spectrum analysis and time history analysis in accordance with the 2018 Turkish Structure Earthquake Regulation were performed. For the time history analysis, the acceleration records of the Pazarcık Earthquake, Elbistan Earthquake and Hatay Earthquake, which are called the disaster of the century in Turkey, which occurred recently, were used. The data obtained as a result of the analyzes were compared with the results of the models with structure soil interaction and fixed support. As a result of the modal analysis, it was determined that the period value of the SSI model was higher. As a result of the analyzes made in the time history, it was found that there were larger displacements in the SSI model when the largest horizontal displacement values at the top of the structure were compared. When the largest principal stresses were compared, it was found that higher stresses occurred in the SSI model than in the FS model. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Zemin ile üst yapının geometrik, mekanik ve dinamik özellikleri birbirlerine aktarıldığı için tasarımları bağımsız düşünülmemelidir. Yapı zemin etkileşimi göz önüne alınarak gerçekleştirilen analizlerde yapı periyodu ve periyoda bağlı olarak etki eden yatay kuvvetler zemin özelliklerine göre değişiklik gösterir. Bu çalışmada yapı-zemin etkileşiminin yığma bir minarenin sismik davranışına etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla Türkiye’nin Isparta ilinde inşa edildiği düşünülen tipik bir yığma minare SAP2000 V23.1.0 programında modellenmiştir. Yapı zemin etkileşiminin minarenin sismik davranışına etkilerini görmek için minarenin, zemine ankastre mesnetli ve yapı zemin etkileşimli iki ayrı sonlu eleman modeli oluşturulmuştur. İki model üzerinde, 2018 Türkiye Bina Deprem Yönetmeliğine uygun modal analiz, tepki spektrumu analizi ve zaman tanım alanında analiz gerçekleştirilmiştir. Zaman tanım alanında analiz için son dönemde meydana gelen Türkiye’de asrın felaketi olarak adlandırılan Pazarcık Depremi, Elbistan Depremi ve Hatay Depremi’nin ivme kayıtları kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda elde edilen veriler ile yapı zemin etkileşimli ve ankastre mesnetli modellerin sonuçları karşılaştırılmıştır. Modal analiz sonucunda yapı zemin etkileşimli modelin periyot değerinin daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Zaman tanım alanında yapılan analizler sonucunda, yapının tepe noktasındaki en büyük yatay yer değiştirme değerleri karşılaştırıldığı zaman yapı zemin etkileşimli modelde daha büyük yer değiştirmelerin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. En büyük asal gerilmeler karşılaştırıldığında yapı zemin etkileşimli modelde ankastre mesnetli modele nazaran daha yüksek asal gerilmelerin oluştuğu tespit edilmiştir. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
