The authors discuss particular features of accelerograms with a view to subsequent identification of parameters of the earthquake excitation. The authors also consider two ways of simulating stationary random processes. The authors also propose their techniques aimed at the generation of accelerograms characterized by the most unfavourable spectral compositions for particular buildings. The least favourable spectral composition represents a composition that causes the effect, the dominant frequency of which is close to the eigenfrequency corresponding to the form that has a maximal modal mass. The dominant frequency is to be considered close to the eigenfrequency of the structure, if as a result of generation of the stationary portion of the accelerogram its dominant frequency does not exceed the eigenfrequency of the structure with a probability equal to, at least, 0.1.Рассмотрены некоторые особенно сти обработки инструментальных акселе рограмм для последующего определения параметров сейсмического воздействия.
