The article aims at determining Russia's position in the world's leading innovation ratings and It covers the analysis of the corresponding dynamics. The achievement of the goal made it possible to formulate and solve the following tasks: identifying the features of the methodology and determining the place of the country in the Global Innovation Index (GII); the definition of Russia's positions in European analytical assessments of INSEAD; analyzing the features ofcountries ' investment attractiveness rating (FDI Confidence Index) according to the methodology developed by the Agency A. T. Kearney.
