| Description |
Recently the Russian legal doctrine began to focus on the retrospective analysis of legal institutions, thus facilitating a deeper and more comprehensive study. The article investigates the issues of legal regulation of inheritance by will in Russia in the medieval period. The contents of testamentary law is analyzed on the basis of normative sources (Pskov judicial Charter, the Novgorod judicial Charter), which operated in the feudal period. The article studies the features of testamentary law during the period under consideration.
