Today, over 12 500 taxa (species, varieties and cultivars) are cultivated in the greenhouse collections of the BIN RAS Botanical Garden of Peter the Great, approximately half of them are a wood and tree-like forms. 241 families are grown in the greenhouses; 154 of them are woody plants, including shrubs and lianes, 15 families are tree-like forms. This report is about the main positive and negative factors faced by greenhouse employees while growing woody forms.
