FORMATION OF RESEARCH COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS-ECONOMISTS BY MEANS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE

The problem of forming research competences as part of professional competencies is considered when implementing educational standards of the third generation. Knowledge of a foreign language and its use as a tool for searching, selecting and extracting information of a scientific and / or specialized nature acquire special relevance in the context of globalization not only of information resources but also of the modern labor market. The involvement of students in research activities in a foreign language contributes to the formation of additional research competencies. Materials. In the article, the authors determine the tasks of the organization, the types of scientific research work of students, the pedagogical conditions for the formation of research competencies; also, an assessment is made of the level of the development of research skills in the allocated competencies within the framework of the NIRS. Methods. Analysis and synthesis of scientific and educational literature, design, interpretation of the results of work on vocational training. Results. Most of the students who took part in the survey demonstrated a fairly high level of research competence, which testifies to an effective system of organizing the research work. Conclusion. The level of competence in research work, formed by the means of a foreign language including, is an important criterion for the success of the future professional activity of a specialist trained to work in the global economic system. The obtained research results can be useful for scientific and pedagogical staff and students of higher education institutions of economics and management, and used to improve the organization of scientific research work of future specialists.
